The noise in the street made the village elder drop the pitchfork he was using to spread freshly cut hay to dry in the barn and go see what was causing such a commotion. As soon as he jumped off the overhang onto the ground, he felt it trembling beneath his feet. Then a terrible roar echoed through the area, terrifying the villagers who scattered and ran to hide in their homes. Not only the residents of this small village felt the ground shaking beneath their feet and heard the deafening noise that day; all the inhabitants of Asteria were agitated by this strange event. And the cause of it all was an earthquake that triggered a terrible landslide, the echoes of which were heard even in the most distant corners of the world. And this rockfall would soon have been forgotten if not for something ominous and frightening that was revealed after it. An earthquake, which caused a landslide, cleared a previously unknown path to an ancient Elven sanctuary, built by a dark people many years ago. But despite the centuries that have passed since the entrance to the temple was blocked by rocks, it was inhabited. The immortal inhabitants of the sanctuary have not left it all this time, remaining loyal to the sacred place of their people. Nothing goes unnoticed... But it was not the years that left their mark on the appearance of the dark elves, but a pact, made in a moment of despair, with the God of the dead and the damned. And now, when the gates of the sanctuary were reopened, they did not rush to leave their place of centuries-long imprisonment. Having turned into a terrible undead, the inhabitants of the mountain temple swore that their shame would not be known, and that no human or magma creature who dared to enter the gorge would leave it alive.

By defeating the strongest opponents in battle and defeating the Elven queen herself, you can obtain a mysterious artifact - the Beacon of Mystery - to open the Elven Vault, where excellent materials for creating bows of all combat styles are hidden. Weapon parts can be exchanged and sold, or taken to the Soiguire or Ostap's Armory, where craftsmen will create an excellent bow from them.
To enter the Elven sanctuary, the path to which leads from the Canyon of Immortality and the Jasmine Thickets, you must be level 3 and have at least 250 reputation with the undead hunters.
