The quest «Return of the Fallen Gods» is available from level 14 at the  Forest and  Lake hermits on the Misty Islands. They will send you to the ancient altar on the Dragon Islands and the Shore of the Scorpions
 
Spirit from the Zarthas Altar will teach you to kill corrupted monsters and loot Shiaass Fragments from them.
For each kill of a monster in this lair, provided you have studied First Thesaurus of Shias, you will receive Smallest shard of Shiass.
For each kill of a monster in this lair, provided you have studied Second Thesaurus of Shias, you will receive Tiny shard of Shiass.
For each kill of a monster in this lair, provided you have studied Third Thesaurus of Shias, you will receive Small shard of Shiass.
For each kill of a monster in this lair, provided you have studied Fourth Thesaurus of Shias, you will receive Small shard of Shiass.
For each kill of a monster in this lair, provided you have studied Fifth Thesaurus of Shias, you will receive Average Shias shard.
For each kill of a monster in this lair, provided you have studied Sixth Thesaurus of Shias, you will receive Large Shiaas shard.
For each kill of a monster in this lair, provided you have studied Sixth Thesaurus of Shias, you will receive Huge Shiaas shard.
Further, for each kill of these monsters, you will continue to receive fragments, increasing your reputation of Shadow Fighters.
