**Quests** are tasks that the inhabitants of Faeo are willing to give you. By completing them, you will receive rewards: experience, money, elixirs, combat ammunition, professions, etc.
The first quests are available from the **Elder Cort** in the **Klesva** settlement or the **chieftain Targor** in the **Chernag** settlement, depending on the race you have chosen. You can learn more about the first steps in the game from the **Newbie Guide**.

Your adventures in the game will begin with meeting one of the leaders. During this time, you will travel around the world, communicate with various quest characters, solve logical puzzles, defeat enemies, search for answers to questions, and make difficult decisions that can affect not only the completion of a particular task but also your fate in the world of Faeo.
By clicking on the image of a quest character, you will go to a section where all the tasks available to him are displayed.

By selecting a quest, you will start a dialogue with the character, who will tell you about the essence of the upcoming task and possible ways to complete it.
Important! Carefully read what the quest characters tell you, because the answer to the quest may be hidden in their words.
All the tasks you are performing and their current status are displayed in the quest log. You can open it using the "Quests" button in the side menu of the game.

From the quest log, you can see which tasks you are currently performing, as well as view their descriptions and current goals. To do this, click the "+" sign next to the desired quest. You can also refuse to complete a task through the quest log. This should be done if you feel that you are going in the wrong direction, or if you want to reread some of the quest dialogues.

In the adjacent tab, there is a list of completed tasks and repeatable quests that you can complete again.

To complete tasks, you need to communicate with various quest characters. They live in different buildings on the map, which, like other objects, are highlighted when you hover the mouse cursor over them.
To find the necessary building or character in the world of Faeo, use the in-game map. It will help you choose the right route and get detailed information about the area you are exploring.

Important! Carefully study the locations - the character you need may live in an inconspicuous forest hut, or in an abandoned mine, or even in a quiet backwater, overgrown with algae.

There are several types of icons that you may see next to quest characters. They reflect the nature of the available task:

Clan quests have some features:
- only the clan leader can start or cancel a quest;
- if the clan leader changes, the quest is automatically canceled with the loss of all progress;
- if you decide to leave the clan while completing a quest, you will also be automatically canceled from the quest. This rule also works in reverse: a player who joins the clan in the middle of a quest automatically receives the quest with the same goal as the other members of the clan.
Tip 1: If you want to know where a particular quest character lives, the character guide will help you. To find the way to this character, use the "Compass". You can learn more about the in-game navigation system from the Traveler's Guide.
Tip 2: If you have forgotten what needs to be done to complete a particular task, find your current goal in the quest log.
Tip 3: If you encounter problems that you cannot solve on your own, ask for advice from other players in the chat or on the game forum in the relevant section. There are always those who can help you.
