RUNES | ![]() |
Runes are magical stones that are embedded in armor pieces and add certain characteristics to them, increasing the character's capabilities. Runes can be purchased at the Auction or directly from a jeweler, or you can make them yourself (if you have the appropriate jeweler skill). There are several types of runes:

Each type of rune can only be embedded in a specific piece of armor:
Fav - Main weapon
Gar - Off-hand weapon/Shield
Bial - Armor (Chestplate)
Chud - Pauldrons
Ing - Shirt (Chainmail)
Tias - Helmet
Mirt - Bracers
Geb - Greaves
In addition, it is important to pay attention to the level and the style of combat of the armor piece into which the rune will be embedded.
Let's consider an example of choosing a rune. You have a set of "Kostolom" armor from levels 1-5, and you want to embed a rune in the pauldrons. According to the list above, the rune used for pauldrons is Chud. Now, find the appropriate set in the table: "Kostolom" armor set from levels 1-5 - runes of Shatter or Fury. Thus, two runes are suitable: Rune of Shatter Chud or Rune of Fury Chud.
How to embed a rune in an item? To do this, place the item in your inventory, and then hover the cursor over the rune. In the upper right corner of the rune image, you will see a green button. Click it - and the rune will be embedded.

If you do not have an item in your inventory into which a rune can be embedded, you will see the following message:

If you do have such an item, a window will appear where you can choose the item to embed the rune into. Then, simply click "Execute", and the rune will be embedded.

If the rune is embedded successfully, when you hover the cursor over the item, you will see the corresponding inscription and the changed characteristics of the item.

However, there are runes that can only be obtained through reputation.
